It has been a very big month for this “little website that could!”

In addition to great mentions on Spark People, Vital Juice, Woman’s Day and Daily Vitamin, one of the highlights was meeting with Vicky Hallett, fitness columnist for The Washington Post, and WP photographer extraordinaire Susan Biddle.

The White House staff need exercise workouts too!Looks like White House staffers are just like everybody else: they struggle to find time to exercise.  Maybe they need a little SqueezeItIn.com.  According to The Washington Post:

“The grueling schedule has forced most of the presidential aides to abandon physical exercise, and the few who persist — often because of incessant goading from their fitness-fixated commander in chief — have planned their workouts at times that stretch their schedules even further.”

Welcome to SqueezeItIn.com!

We are so glad that you have found us and we want to make sure that you keep coming back. Each week we will introduce even more SqueezeItIn.com exercises for women along with some helpful hints from the world of fitness.

For many of us the “ to-do list” is long and exercise either isn’t on it or is the first thing to get pushed off.  We think it can be different.  At SqueezeItIn.com, we believe exercise can be part of every chore, errand, and task, and we are here to show you how!

While doing these exercises if 2 sets of 12 seems too easy add more reps.  But if you find that an exercise is more challenging and it could be too much of a struggle to reach 12 repetitions, then set a realistic goal for yourself and work your way up.

Working out does not have to be all or nothing.  It can be done in as little as three 10-minute workout bursts of moderate intensity activity.  By incorporating the SqueezeItIn.com exercises into your every day routine you will be adding great benefit to your body, mind and soul.

Put YOU back on your to-do list and let life be your workout!

Great minds think alike!  People all over the country are looking for ways to squeeze exercise into their daily routines.  The SqueezeItIn.com Girls will be scouring the globe looking for the best suggestions, articles, videos, and more, so you have a one-stop-shop to help you fit in fitness. 

Here’s a great example from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

One of our favorite passages from the article really embodies the spirit behind SqueezeItIn.com:

Waiting in line? Waiting for your food to warm up in the microwave? Just brushing your teeth? Pasion said to try balancing on one foot. “See how long you can do this. Fifteen to 30 seconds would be ideal,” he said. Pasion’s ideas about squeezing the glutes and contracting the abs are also inconspicuous ways to work out while waiting in line.

You can even make the most of a minimal wait. Geoff Bates of Roswell said he gets in about 50 push-ups just waiting for his water to warm up in the shower.
