Exercise: Dinner Twist
SqueezeItIn.com Girls
Put a new twist on dinner with the Dinner Twist.
Finished assembling that lasagna? Layer in some exercise before you pop it in the oven.
Hold your dish in front of you with your elbows at a 90-degree angle (see photo).
Twist to your right side without moving your lower body (see photo). You should feel this in your oblique muscles (your sides) and the movement should come from your waist, not your hips. Hold the twist for a 3-count of Squeeze-It-In and return to center. Twist to the left, hold and return to center.
Repeat until you have completed 12 twists on each side.
(Use cooled dish of your choice. Lasagna optional. But we love the “za” from Let’s Dish! featured in the photos. See their special offer.)

Hello to you! Read about your efforts in the Portland, Oregonian newspaper today. I’m 70 years old and have to have a new lease on life! I’ve been doing back exercises since an injury in 2006 (people look at me pretty oddly when I do them in public), but what the heck? Now I have a great place to look for more exercise ideas. Thanks so much for all your efforts. I’ve sent your website link along to many friends and family today.
